Two months and 3 days

I has been a while since I have posted anything here. We have been really busy. We are all doing great in general. We have had a little set back in the breast feeding department and have to supplement her with formula. This is very distressing to us as we never wanted to give her formula, but she needs to gain about .5 lb. We are doing ok, but now we have to feed her every two hours again rather than every 3-4 so it feels like she is a newborn all over again. Poor thing, doesn't want to get up at night and we have a hard time waking her now, because she had just finally settled into a regular sleep, wake, play and feed pattern that we are changing on her. We are a little sleep deprived and disappointed that we have to cancel our plans to go out this weekend for our wedding anniversary, but she certainly comes first right now. There will be many more anniversary to come.

Developmentally she has come so far in a month! She now smiles all the time and holds her head up pretty well, in general she only has trouble when she is upset or tired. She discovered her water play gym yesterday and now thinks that is really fun to lay under. She coos and "talks" to us now and will have a "conversation" with you if she is in the mood.
